wood is an analytical chemist with over 25 years of experience pioneering new methodologies for instrument manufacturers and almost 10 years of experience as an environmental consultant with CSC Targhee, Inc. Currently, she is managing implementation of Targhee's Sustainability and Climate Change Practices in addition to her work a part of the company's litigation support team.
Her presentation entitled "Environmental Forensics from A Chemist's Perspective" will provide an insider's tale of how litigation led to our regional watershed management approach, local support for wetland restoration projects, air quality improvements at the Ports and Long Beach's Sustainable City Policy. She will also discuss several high profile environmental cases and how chemistry bridged the gap between scientific and technical professionals, attorneys and the judge.
