California State University Bakersfield - IH&S Club

 

The Southern California Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association is a proud sponsor of the CSUB - IH&S Club.

 

The purpose of the club is to promote the advancement of industrial hygiene and professional safety, and to foster the professional well-being and development of its members within its campus and community.

 

In fulfilling its purpose, the CSUB - IH&S club has the following objectives:

  • To increase individual knowledge of professional industrial health and safety through interaction with other interested parties.
  • To develop and promote educational programs for obtaining the knowledge required to perform the functions of a professional in the Safety or Industrial Hygiene fields.
  • To interact with professionals in government, industry, education, and professional bodies.
