Southern California AIHA

The Southern California American Industrial Hygiene Association (SCAIHA) honors several individuals annually for Academics, Leadership, and Technical Achievements in the field of Industrial Hygiene. The Scholarship Awards (Graduate and Undergraduate) are given out during the May meeting and presentation; and the Lawrence R. Birkner Leadership Award and Ruth McIntyre-Birkner Technical Achievement Award are presented during the March meeting and presentation.

Lawrence R. Birkner Leadership Award

The Lawrence R. Birkner Leadership Award is intended to recognize a member of the SCAIHA for displaying outstanding leadership in the field of industrial Hygiene.
